In addition to the major Hollywood studios, this year's promotion conference invited Unifrance to participate for the first time. Diplomats and film professionals from 11 countries including Italy, Canada, Spain, and New Zealand were also invited to the event, establishing an international joint exhibition booth.

The event gathered industry leaders and over 800 professionals representing 49 cinema chains, more than 70 film investment companies, along with distributors and producers. It served as a much-needed arena to preview upcoming projects and reinforce confidence within the industry, particularly amid current market challenges.

It functions as a platform that connects the film production, distribution, and exhibition sectors across the entire industry chain. By fostering resource alignment and innovation, the event energizes China's film industry. The annual autumn conference at the Hengdian Film & TV Festival has become a widely recognized industry barometer.

Han Xiaoli, president of the China Film Distribution & Exhibition Association, noted that today's audiences have particularly high standards for movie viewing. "From creation to distribution, exhibition, and cinema operations, we must provide audiences with the best content, environment, and experience. This is the development goal that the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the industry need to work together to achieve."
